I know a lot of girls say this but: I really love shoes. New shoes, I love even more. So when Beyond Skin offered to send me a pair, I was over the moon to say the least. Especially since I have admired and loved this vegan footwear brand ever since I discovered them. This chic Brighton brand creates handmade faux-leather shoes from environmentally friendly materials - sprinkled with a good dose of style.
Let me tell you, choosing just one pair from the stunning Beyond Skin collection is anything but easy. There were the Rinaldis - just enough height and go with everything. There were the Lucys - dainty, pretty and oh-so-feminine, with just a hint of dandy. There were the Edis - how hot were this year's knee-highs on the runway? And then there were the Alices - party-perfect, and the winner of Beyond Skin's competition with PETA. Such a lovely story! But in the end, my heart settled on the Chelseas - a sleek style that seems to be made for the streets of London.
Opening the hot-pink box (how pretty?) and finding this supercool style was almost as much of a Christmas treat as breaking them in - for my first time wearing the Chelseas, David and I ventured out on the streets of Crystal Palace for a little photoshoot.
Dress, Pimpinette. Bag and gloves, H&M. Tights, Marks & Spencer. Coat was a Christmas present so I have no clue where it's from.
