Coffee and Heels at VegFest London

I was lucky enough to be invited to VegFest, a huge festival celebrating all things vegan, held this weekend in London's Kensington Olympia. As I had never been to a big vegan event before, I kept an open mind - and an empty stomach!

Featuring two enormous floors full of stalls representing a myriad of vegan companies, this is as close to vegan heaven as I've ever been. If you've ever had difficulties finding vegan alternatives, this place is a dream: huge hot dogs, yummy sushi wraps, vegan cheese, chocolate and lots and lots of cupcakes all under one roof! But it's not all about the food. VegFest also features cruelty-free beauty such as BUAV and Lavera, fashion such as Third Estate (a vegan shoe and accessory store in Camden) and stalls dedicated to various vegan and animal-friendly causes: ending animal testing, saving Romanian stray dogs, stopping the badger cull and various other animal-saving pursuits.

I loved absolutely everything - the only thing I can complain about were the OUTRAGEOUS queues to the food - forty-five minutes? Unreal. But aside from that, VegFest was a huge success - not only will I be back next year, but I'd love to have Vilda Magazine featured!

  1. So jealous! Hopefully I will be able to go next year :)

  2. This looks like it was so much fun! I can't wait to see the magazine have it's own booth next year! :)
