Things I Love: The Weekend List

It's the weekend! Well, it's actually almost over, but it's been a good one.

Despite this absolutely unacceptable weather (when did it become okay to wear two pairs of tights in March?), this weekend has turned out more than okay, thanks to a few small-yet-significant things that always add that extra silver lining:

My new H&M jacket! It's beyond fabulous and only cost £34. Unfortunately, it's still way too darn cold to wear it, so for now I have to settle for longingly gazing at it hanging on my dress rack.

Do we have the best magazine covers this month or what? Cosmo gives us Zooey Deschanel, Company's got Emma Stone - but my personal favourite is Mila Kunis on the Marie Claire cover. Who doesn't want to look like that? My Friday night was spent with these girls and a cup of tea - yes, I know. I've been wondering if it's time to change this blog's name to Tea and Heels!

This is 40. This movie is crazy hilarious. I can't remember the last time I laughed this much. I adore Judd Apatow and everything he does, especially if it's with the likes of Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Mann, Jason Segel and Lena Dunn - not to mention too-hot-to-be-true Paul Rudd, who just made it to my list of famous people it's okay to cheat on my boyfriend with. Also, Megan Fox has been on the list for a while - and she's in the movie, too.

My new goodies from The Body Shop - Pink Grapefruit Body Butter and Mango Shower Gel. Every shower is a fruity explosion with these little treats.

This song, guys. Her voice is un-freaking-believable.

Yoga achievements: I can now do a front leg sitting stretch and actually manage to grab my feet. I can also do a Paripurna Navasana with straight legs! That's a big deal, you guys. At least to me.

Things to look forward to:

The new 30 Seconds to Mars song comes out tomorrow! Those of you who follow me on Facebook and Twitter, I apologize in advance for the millions of times I'll share it. Can't wait can't wait can't wait.

Choosing my dress for my sister's June wedding. She asked me last week if I already knew what I was going to wear. Um, I don't even know what pants to wear tomorrow. And I've also got a speech to write!

Starting to read The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari - I got it used from Amazon and can't wait to read it!

Speaking of Amazon - I was thinking Jessica Alba's book. Is it any use if you're not a parent?

Planting a tiny little flower and tomato garden with my boyfriend on our balcony - but in order for that to happen, the weather has to cooperate. And we're not exactly there yet.

A new opportunity...that I'm not telling everyone about just in case it doesn't work out. But it's something I'm SUPER excited about.

Have a lovely Sunday...what's left of it!
