Yummy strawberries...

...are just one of countless reasons to embrace and enjoy a plant-based diet: you live healthier, you help the planet, you save thousands of lives (that's right, YOU save lives by eating this delicious food! How awesome is that?) and you get to indulge in tons of mouth-watering deliciousness.

So far, it hasn't been easy, but it's been amazing. I've learned so much from my journey towards a cruelty-free diet. Here are a few of my best reasons to eat more plant-based stuff:

I enjoy my vegan journey not only because I feel energized and healthy, but because I know that what I am doing is wonderful for the planet and for all the living beings on it - including humans! Another great benefit? I've learned to cook all new dishes - and David enjoys vegan cooking, too! It's a win-win. Try and see for yourself!

  2. La cucina vegana è fantastica. Creativa e gustosissima.
    Io mi diverto ad inventare nuovi accostamenti e devo dire che sto diventando una brava cuoca.
    E comunque la sensazione più bella - al di là di tutti gli innegabili vantaggi per la salute - è quella di sapere che nessun animale è morto o ha sofferto per finire nel tuo piatto.
    Belle foto, mi fanno venire voglia di cenare una seconda volta. :-)

Sicuramente essere vegana non vuol dire mangiare cose insapore come molti pensano.Io non sono vegana,ma non ho neanche nessun pregiudizio su questo.Sono sicura che a Londra sarà più facile trovare nuovi prodotti,in Italia solitamente ristoranti e bar non offrono neanche cose per celiaci per dire,quindi figuriamoci piatti vegani!

    1. é vero, qui é molto piú facile, sia al supermercato che andando a mangiare fuori...c'é molta piú scelta e di questo sono davvero contenta!

  5. I have to admit it, I'm neither a vegetarian nor a vegan, but your posts are so full of positive energey and passion about it, that you made me curious to try, for example, soy milk, which has recently become a new addiction of mine! Next step: buying Alicia Silverstone's book :)

It's a great idea to "veganize" things you eat a lot of - cow's milk can be replaced with soy, almond, hazelnut, hemp or rice milk, which are all good for you! Alicia's book is so inspirational and contains lots of useful info. Let me know how it goes!
