Lush for Life

After years of buying my makeup, body and hair products at the supermarket or at the beauty shop, I have now decided to make a change and try using only natural, non-animal-tested products. Luckily, one of my favorite beauty brands happens to be the all-green, delicious Lush, the British brand that believes in creating fresh, natural products with organic ingredients and no animal testing!

Post Holiday Blues

I'm back!
I'd love to say that my vacation has left me feeling rested and re-energized, that I've really had a chance to recharge...but the truth is that one week is nowhere near enough!
After a week of lying on the beach, swimming in the pool, eating ice cream and drinking Bacardi Breezers, I (unsurprisingly) find myself craving more, and the idea of going back to the office and to scorching-hot Milan is not very tempting. It's almost enough to make me miss life as a hotel receptionist in a beachside hotel, sleeping on the beach all day and partying all night. Now that was living life.

As my vacation flew by, I had an amazing time and it's funny how the places that give you the best memories are places that you already know and are fond of. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter where you are, what matters is who you are with (well, if, like me, you spend your holidays in a tiny seaside town in the South of Italy, it doesn't exactly ruin things!) and sometimes I'm just blown away by how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my life. Year after year, my vacations, although too short, are always marvellous, even though we're not exactly climbing Mount Everest - it's all about the beach, the pool, good food and nights out. But sometimes, that's all you need.

Summer Break

I'm sorry girls (and boys?), but you'll have to do without Coffee and Heels for a couple of days.

I'm closing down for a week of sunsets and beachside cocktails, cappuccino breakfasts and pool parties.
It's finally vacation time, but I promise that I'll be back soon!

Have a fabulous week and don't miss me too much.
